Why Do Some Plants Glow in the Dark?

Some plants, like the Cyclops fungus or Pyrocystis species, glow in the dark because they have tiny glowing helpers inside them. These helpers are called bioluminescent organisms, and they light up when they get excited, just like how fireflies blink at night. The glow helps them hide from their enemies or attract food.
