Why Do Some Countries Have Two Different Time Zones?

Imagine your town is on the east side of a big mountain, and you're all using the same clock. But on the other side of that mountain, people live in a different place with their own time. So your country has two clocks: one for you, and one for them. That’s how some countries have two different time zones, it's like having two parts of the day at once.
