What is "Ghosting"?
Imagine you're playing tag with your best friend, and all of a sudden, they just poof! disappear. That’s what ghosting feels like. You’re having fun, and then nothing happens, no message, no wave, just gone.
Why Do People Ghost?
Sometimes people get busy or forget about someone, but other times they feel shy or scared to say goodbye. It's like when you're eating your favorite snack and realize it’s almost gone, you don’t want to stop, so you just leave quietly instead of saying “see you later.”
Ghosting is a way to avoid the awkwardness of ending something, especially if things didn’t go perfectly. It feels easier to just disappear than to explain why they're leaving.
