Why Do People Get 'Stage Fright' More Than Once?

Sometimes people get stage fright because they're really scared of making mistakes in front of a lot of people. It feels like their heart is racing and they can't think straight. Even if you've done it before, your brain might still think it's the first time, so the fear comes back again.

Why does it come back?

Your brain remembers how scary it was the last time. So even though you're used to speaking in front of people, your body can get all jumpy and nervous just like before.
