Cold soaked is like when your body feels like it's suddenly turned on a freezing air conditioner, even though you're not wearing anything cold. It happens after a fever, which is when your body gets really hot to fight germs. When the fever goes away, your body switches back to normal mode and feels cold all at once, making you shiver like you just walked into a snowstorm.
Examples
- Imagine coming out of a hot shower after being stuck in a sauna, you feel like ice has been poured over your skin.
- Your fever was so strong that when it broke, you felt like you were sitting outside on a winter morning wearing only socks.
