Why Do Patterns Appear in Randomness?

Imagine you're flipping a coin, and for a while it lands on heads every time. It feels like the coin is trying to trick you, but that's just randomness at work! Sometimes, even when things are completely random, they look like they have patterns. This happens because there’s a chance pattern will appear by accident. For example, if you roll a dice 10 times, it might land on 6 multiple times in a row, and that looks surprising even though nothing is really special about it. Randomness can feel magical, but it's just math playing tricks on your eyes.
