Paintings can seem to move when you blink because your eyes are always adjusting. When you blink, the light hits your eyes a little differently, and your brain thinks it’s seeing something new. It’s like when you look at a picture from across the room, everything seems smaller, but when you walk closer, the details pop out! Your brain is tricked into thinking the painting moved.
Examples
- When you blink, your painting looks like it’s winking back at you.
- Imagine looking at a bright red flower, after blinking, it seems like it moved slightly.
