How It Works
When a painting is made, the artist uses layers of paint on a canvas or wood. These materials are strong and don’t break easily. If they are kept in places with no sun or rain, the colors won’t fade or crack like they would outside.
Examples
- An old picture that was painted on wood still looks nice today because it wasn’t exposed to rain or wind.
- A colorful flower painting stayed vibrant even after hundreds of years because the artist used strong paint.
