Why Do Mountains Erode?

Mountains are like giant rocks that get worn down over time. Just like how a pencil wears down when you write with it, mountains wear away because of wind, rain, and ice. When snow melts, it makes water that flows down the mountain and takes little pieces of rock with it, this is called erosion.
