Why Do Moral Relativists Reject Absolutes?

Imagine you are at a playground. One rule says "no running." Another playground says "running is fun!" Moral relativists say both playgrounds are right for their own kids. They do not believe there is one single rulebook for everyone.

Relativists think rules change based on where you live and what your family believes. If everyone had one rule, people from different places would always argue. Relativists want peace, so they say "your way is good for you, my way is good for me."

Just like ice cream flavors! Chocolate is best for some, vanilla for others.
