Why do men have nipples?

Men have nipples because they were born with them, just like women, it’s like having a toy that both brothers and sisters can play with.

Nipples are the little bumps on your chest that help babies drink milk from their mom. For girls, this happens when they grow up to be moms. But for boys, it doesn’t happen quite the same way, they never need to use their nipples for drinking milk, so they stay as little bumps.

When a baby grows inside its mom’s belly, both boys and girls have the same body parts at first. Over time, girls get more things ready for having babies later in life, like bigger breasts, that's why their nipples grow bigger too. Boys don’t need those extra changes, so their nipples stay small and simple.

It's like when you and your brother both wear the same kind of shirt to school, even though one of you might grow taller, you still both have shirts. Nipples are just a little part of that same idea!
