Why Do Humans Have a 'Second Wind'?

Second wind is like when you’re playing a game and your team is losing, but then all of a sudden everyone gets super energetic. Your body starts using more oxygen, which gives you more energy to keep going. At first, it feels hard because your body uses up quick energy, like snacks, but once it switches to slower energy, like meals, you feel like you have more power.
