Why Do Forests Make Different Sounds?

Forests make different sounds because of the trees and plants inside them. Just like a wind chime makes different noises depending on how it’s touched, trees and bushes make different sounds depending on the wind or animals moving around. Some forests are full of tall trees that creak like old chairs, that's why they sound more like a big room. Other forests have smaller plants and leaves that rustle like paper being crumpled. That makes them feel quieter and more secretive.
