Czech cactus hunters think they're like Robin Hood because they take from the rich and give to the poor, but with cactuses instead of gold.
Imagine you have a big, shiny toy that everyone wants. The rich people buy it all up so no one else can have it. But then there are some brave kids who sneak in at night to grab some of those toys and hide them where the other kids can find them, for free!
That’s what Czech cactus hunters do, but with cactuses. They take cactuses from big gardens or fancy places where they're kept safe and hidden, and then they give them away to people who don’t have money to buy their own.
Sometimes, the rich people get mad because their shiny toys are missing. But the hunters don’t care, they’re just like Robin Hood, helping the poor by sharing what they’ve stolen!
Why Cactuses?
Cactuses are like special, strong plants that can survive in tough places. The rich people have lots of them and keep them safe, but the hunters believe everyone should be able to enjoy cactuses, not just the rich ones!
