Why Are We Always Looking for Aliens?

Imagine you're playing hide and seek in a huge park, but there are hundreds of other kids hiding too. That's kind of what we're doing with aliens, looking for life in the vastness of space. We use radio waves, telescopes, and even listen to signals from faraway stars. We believe they might be out there because Earth is just one planet among billions, and it seems unfair that only humans have life.
