There are so many beetles because they’re really good at growing and having babies.
Imagine you have a big box full of tiny toy cars. Every time one car makes another car, the number of cars keeps getting bigger and bigger, like when you play with your toys and make more friends join in. That’s kind of what happens with beetles. They can lay lots of eggs, and those eggs grow into new beetles really fast.
How Beetles Make More Beetles
Beetles have a special way to multiply: they lay eggs, and each egg becomes a baby beetle. Some beetles even make hundreds of babies at once! It's like if you had a cookie jar, and every time you ate one cookie, you got two more, soon your jar would be full of cookies.
Also, beetles are super tough. They can live in all kinds of places, under rocks, in soil, on trees, so they’re not easily knocked out. That means even if something tries to stop them, they just keep going and growing.
So there you have it: beetles make lots of babies quickly, and they're hard to beat, that’s why we see so many of them everywhere!
