Platonic solids are like the most perfect 3D shapes, all their faces and edges are exactly the same. There's only five of them because you can't keep stacking identical shapes forever in three dimensions, just like how you can’t build an infinite tower with blocks on Earth.
Examples
- Dice are often shaped like Platonic solids, like the classic six-sided cube or twenty-sided dodecahedron.
- Beehives use hexagonal patterns similar to those found in Platonic solid structures.
