Stars are like fire. Some are tiny little fires that burn cool, they look red. Others are huge, blazing fires that burn really hot, they look blue. The bigger and hotter the star, the more blue it looks.
Examples
- A red fire looks cool because it's not very hot.
- A blue flame burns much hotter than a yellow one.
- The Sun is kind of like a yellow star, but it’s actually a bit cooler.
