Some people are said to be ‘left-brained’ or ‘right-brained’ based on how their brain works. The left side of the brain is usually more logical and helps with math and language, while the right side is more creative and helps with art and music. But most people use both sides of their brain, it's just that some may favor one side more than the other.
Examples
- A kid who loves math and reading might be labeled ‘left-brained,’ while a kid who draws and sings might be called ‘right-brained.’
- A person who solves puzzles quickly may prefer using their left brain, while someone who paints or dances may rely more on their right brain.
- Some people are said to think in pictures (like artists) if they use their right brain, others think in words (like writers) if they use their left brain.
