Why All The Planets Are On The Same Orbital Plane?

All the planets are on the same orbital plane because they were born spinning together, like kids on a merry-go-round.

Imagine you're at a playground with your friends, and everyone is riding the same merry-go-round. You all move in a circle around the center, that's like how the planets orbit the Sun. If you all started spinning together, it makes sense that you'd all be on the same level.

Like Making a Pancake

When the Solar System was born, it was like someone flipped a pancake in space. The dust and gas that formed the planets were all swirling around in one flat disk, kind of like how pancake batter spreads out evenly. As the planets came together from this spinning disk, they naturally ended up on the same plane.

A Little Bit of Gravity

Gravity also helps keep everything lined up. Just like how you stay on the merry-go-round instead of flying off into space, gravity keeps the planets in their orbits, and all on the same level, too!
