Who is The Senate?

The Senate is a group of people who help make big decisions for the country, like a team that helps run a school.

Imagine your school has a Senate, it’s like a club where some kids get to vote on things like having more recess or choosing a new lunch menu. In real life, the Senate is part of the government and works with other groups, like the House of Representatives, to help choose leaders and pass laws.
