Who is Social Reintegration?

Social reintegration is when someone goes back into their community after being away for a while.

That’s like what happens with social reintegration, it's when someone returns to their usual life after being away, like going back to school, work, or hanging out with friends.

Think of it as coming back from a long trip. You were gone for a while, maybe even stayed with relatives or went to a different town. When you come home, you might need time to get used to everything again, your room, your school, your friends. That’s what social reintegration feels like for someone who's been away from their life for a while.

If you're playing a game and you had to leave for a bit, when you come back, you might need time to catch up with what everyone else is doing. That’s social reintegration, getting back into the flow of your everyday life after being away.
