Who is Population Distribution?

Population distribution is about how people spread out or gather together in different places.

Imagine you have a big cookie jar, and you're sharing cookies with your friends. If you give everyone the same number of cookies, that’s like even population distribution, everyone has a fair share. But if one friend gets all the cookies and others get none, that's like uneven population distribution, some places have lots of people, and others have very few.

Why It Matters

Population distribution helps us understand where people live and why they choose certain areas over others. For example, cities usually have more people because there are jobs, schools, and fun things to do, just like how your favorite friend always ends up with the most cookies because they're the first to grab them!

On the other hand, rural areas might have fewer people because there's more space but also less activity, like when you sit quietly in the corner of the room while everyone else is playing.

So, population distribution is just a fancy way of saying "how people spread out or bunch together in different places," and it helps us see patterns in how we live.
