Who is Not B?

"Who is Not B? means finding out who doesn’t belong to a group called B."

Imagine you have a big bag of jelly beans. Some are red, and some are blue. The B group has all the blue jelly beans. So, who is Not B? is like asking, "Which jelly beans aren't in the blue group?" That means we're looking for the red ones, the ones that don’t belong to B.

Jelly Beans and Playtime

Let’s say you’re playing with your friends during recess. Your friend group is called B, and they all like to play tag. If someone isn’t in group B, that means they aren’t playing tag with them, maybe they're sitting on the swings or drawing pictures instead.

So, if we ask "Who is Not B?," we’re looking for the kids who are not playing tag, just like finding the red jelly beans when all the blue ones are in group B.
