Who is Middle Ages?

The Middle Ages were a long time between ancient times and modern times when people lived in castles and fought with knights.

Imagine you're playing with your favorite toy soldiers, some are big and strong, like knights, and others are little and sneaky, like spies. That’s kind of what happened during the Middle Ages. People used armor, swords, and horses to fight in battles, just like your toy soldiers might do in a game.

During this time, there were big strong buildings called castles, where kings and queens lived. Knights would ride on horses and protect these castles from enemies, it was like having the best defenders in a video game.

Not everyone was a knight or lived in a castle. Many people farmed, raised animals, and worked hard every day. They didn’t have fancy phones or computers; they had tools made of wood and metal, just like your parents use knives and forks to eat their meals.

It's like having a big party where some kids are dressed up as heroes and others are just playing with blocks, everyone has a role, but not everyone is the same!
