Who is Marshall Plan?

The Marshall Plan was a big idea that helped countries heal after a war by giving them lots of supplies and money.

Imagine you're playing with your friends in the sandbox, and suddenly, a big storm comes and washes everything away. Your toys are gone, and the sand is all messed up. That's kind of what happened to some countries after a big war, they were really tired, didn't have enough food or clothes, and needed help getting back on their feet.

The Marshall Plan was like a generous gift from one group of friends (called the United States) to others who had been through that storm. They gave them things like food, medicine, machines, and money, all the stuff they needed to rebuild their homes and lives again. It wasn’t magic; it was just a really thoughtful way to help people recover.

How the Marshall Plan Worked

Think of it like this: if your friend had no snacks for lunch, you might share some of yours with them. The Marshall Plan was like that, but on a much bigger scale! Countries got what they needed so they could grow and become strong again.
