Who is King Narmer?

King Narmer was like the first boss of all Egypt, way back when people were just starting to build big cities and write down their stories.

Imagine you're playing a game with your friends, and you’re the one who decides the rules. That’s what King Narmer did for Egypt, he helped unite two big groups of people into one strong kingdom. King Narmer is famous for bringing these two parts together, it's called the unification of Egypt. He probably used a big crowd or even a cool symbol, like a crown, to show he was in charge. This helped everyone work better together and made Egypt stronger.

After that, people started building bigger cities and writing on paper-like stuff, which is how we know so much about him today! He’s kind of the original team leader who set everything up for future kings and queens.
