Who is Isaac Newton?

Isaac Newton was a really smart person who helped explain how things move and why we see what we see.

Isaac Newton lived a long time ago, way before your parents were born, and he loved to think about the world around him. He watched apples fall from trees, and that made him wonder: why do things fall down? From this simple observation, he came up with some big ideas about gravity.

Imagine you're playing with building blocks. You push one block, and it moves, but what makes the other blocks move too? That’s kind of like how Newton saw the world: everything is connected by invisible pushes and pulls. He called this gravity, and he said that gravity works not just on Earth, but all around the universe!

Newton didn’t just study falling apples, he also studied the stars, planets, and how they move in space. It was like he had a superpower: he could see patterns in things that other people couldn’t.

He wrote down his ideas in books, and even though he lived long ago, scientists still use his rules today to help us understand the world, just like you use your imagination to solve puzzles!
