Who is First Round?

First Round is a game where people try to guess something before others do.

Imagine you and your friends are playing a guessing game at recess. You have to pick a number between 1 and 10, and the person who picks the closest number wins. But here's the twist: everyone has to choose their number at the same time, without telling anyone else. That’s like First Round, it's a fun competition where players make a guess all together.

In First Round, people bet on how they think something will turn out. For example, if you're guessing how many cookies will be left in the jar after lunch, you might say "10" because that’s what you think is fair. Everyone writes down their guess at the same time, no peeking! Then, they see who was closest to the real number of cookies left.
