Think of your favorite snack, maybe it's a chocolate bar. A disruptive innovation would be like a new kind of snack that’s just as tasty but way easier to eat or cheaper to buy. Suddenly, people start choosing the new snack over the old one because it makes their lives better in a simple and obvious way.
