Contextual Triggers are people who help you figure out what to do next by giving you clues based on where you are or what’s happening around you.
Imagine you're playing a game of hide and seek in your house. You’re hiding, and the person looking for you is your friend Alex. Now, imagine Alex says, “I hear you behind the couch!” That’s a clue, or a trigger, it helps you know where to move next.
Now think of Contextual Triggers as like Alex in every part of your life, not just in hide and seek! They’re people who know what's going on around you, and they give you hints so you can make smart choices. Like when a teacher says, “Everyone needs to quiet down,” or when a friend whispers, “The pizza is ready!”
In real life, Contextual Triggers could be a coach, a parent, a friend, or even someone on TV guiding you through a game.
Sometimes, they give you just enough information so you can decide what’s next, like a map that shows part of the way but not all. That helps you stay in control and feel confident about what to do.
