The Chamber of Deputies is like a big group of people who help make decisions for the whole country.
Imagine you and your friends are playing a game, and you all get to vote on what rules should be in the game. That's kind of how the Chamber of Deputies works, only instead of just your friends, it’s hundreds of people from different parts of the country who get to help decide important things like laws and policies.
How It Works
Each person in the Chamber of Deputies is called a deputy, and they are chosen by the people in their area. These deputies meet together in a big room (or sometimes on a computer screen) to talk about what's going on in the country, and then they vote on new ideas or changes.
Sometimes, they work with another group called the Senate, like two teams working together to make sure everything is fair and works well for everyone.
