Battery Usage is like how much energy your toy uses when it’s playing or working.
Imagine your toy has a battery inside, it's like a tiny food storage for your toy. Every time your toy does something fun, like moving or lighting up, it eats up some of that stored food. That’s what we call Battery Usage, it tells us how much energy the toy is using.
How It Works
Think of the battery as a bag of candies. Each time you press a button on your toy, it takes one candy from the bag. If your toy does lots of things at once, like spinning and singing, it eats up more candies, that means more Battery Usage.
If your toy has only a few candies left, it might stop working soon. That’s why we check how much energy is being used so we know when to give our toy a new bag of candies, or in real life, charge the battery again!
Examples
- Your laptop runs out of power faster if you use it while charging.
- Your smartwatch lasts all day, but only if you don’t check your messages every few minutes.
