Who is Ancient Romans?

The Ancient Romans were people who lived a long time ago in what is now Italy, kind of like how you live in your house today, but back then they lived in big cities and had cool buildings.

Imagine you have a really big family that lives in one house. Then, more families move in next door, and soon everyone is part of this huge neighborhood, that’s what the Ancient Romans were like! They started as a small group in a city called Rome, and over time, they took over many other places around them.

They built amazing things using stone, just like you might build a tower with blocks. Some of their buildings are still standing today, can you believe that? They also had roads that connected all their cities, kind of like the sidewalks and streets you walk on every day.

They even had emperors, who were like super important leaders, think of them as the head of a really big school!
