What Makes an Empire Big?
Some of the Bigger Empires
- The Roman Empire was huge, like having a whole city block full of toy boxes!
- The British Empire stretched across oceans, as if you had toy boxes all over the house and even outside!
- The Mongol Empire was so big it covered parts of Asia and Europe, like wrapping your toys in a giant blanket!
- The Persian Empire ruled for many years, like having a favorite toy that never gets broken!
These empires were huge because they had powerful rulers who could control many people and lands. They made maps bigger than the ones you draw in class!
