Like Sorting Snacks
Think of it like sorting snacks at snack time.
- Your lunch bag might have 5 cookies and 2 candies.
- Your friend’s bag might have 3 cookies and 4 candies.
When you ask "which has exactly what?", you're figuring out:
- Who has more cookies?
- Who has more candies?
- What’s the same, and what’s different?
It's like giving each snack a name and counting them, simple, fair, and fun!
Examples
- A dog is a pet, but not all pets are dogs.
- Apples and oranges can both be fruits, but they're different types of fruit.
- You can be a student, but not necessarily a teacher.
