Where did people live?

People lived in houses that were made from things around them, just like how you build a blanket fort out of blankets and pillows.

What Did Houses Look Like?

Long ago, people used trees, rocks, and mud to make their homes. Some houses looked like big caves, while others had walls built from sticks and stones. It was like building a treehouse, but bigger!

Where Were These Houses?

Sometimes, people lived near rivers or in the middle of forests, just like how you might live near a park or by the lake. Other times, they gathered together in big groups, living in villages or even cities, much like how your school has many classrooms and students all in one place.

People also moved around, from one place to another, just like when you visit Grandma’s house for the weekend. They followed animals, food, or the seasons, making sure they always had a cozy place to sleep, eat, and play.
