What’s the Difference Between ‘Money’ and ‘Wealth’?

Money is what you use to buy things right now, while wealth is all the valuable stuff you own that can grow over time.

Imagine you have a piggy bank full of coins, that’s like money. It's easy to count and use for candy or toys. But if you also have a garden where you grow fruits and vegetables, that’s like wealth. The garden doesn’t cost anything to keep, but it keeps giving you more food every day, and maybe even grows bigger.

Money is for Today

When you want something now, like ice cream, you use your coins from the piggy bank. That's money working hard for you right this moment.

Wealth Grows Over Time

Your garden might start small, but with care, it can become a big farm. That’s how wealth works, it grows and gives you more over time, like extra cookies or even a new bike.

So money is what you have now, while wealth is all the good stuff that helps you get more in the future.
