What would have happened if Carthage had won the Punic Wars?

If Carthage had won the Punic Wars, Rome would have been like a kid who lost their favorite toy, sad and probably not coming back for a long time.

Carthage was like a really strong neighborhood across the sea from Rome, and they fought a big battle called the Punic Wars to see who would be the boss. If Carthage had won, it would have been like if your best friend had taken over your room and made all the rules.

Rome would have been like a kid who got knocked down, they wouldn’t have grown up to be the powerful empire we know today. They might not even have had time to build cool things like roads or write stories about their heroes.

Carthage would have been like that awesome friend who took over your room, they’d probably be building big ships and trading with all the other neighborhoods across the sea. They could have become a super strong empire, maybe even more famous than Rome!
