The brain has two sides, and each side does different things. The left side helps with words and numbers, while the right side helps with pictures and music. But not everyone is super good at just one side, most people use both!
Examples
- A kid who loves to draw might be 'right-brained', while another who enjoys counting marbles is 'left-brained'.
- You can use both sides of your brain when you're solving a math problem and then drawing the answer.
- If someone reads quickly but has trouble remembering faces, they may have a strong left brain.
