Civilizations can fall because they run out of important things. Imagine a big castle with lots of people inside, if the food runs out, or the enemies come too strong, the castle might collapse. Sometimes, the people inside get tired and stop working together, which makes it easier for others to take over.

- A big kingdom runs out of food and loses its army, it gets taken over by neighbors.
- People in a village stop helping each other, soon the whole town falls apart.
- A powerful empire becomes too rich and spends all its money on wars, eventually, it can’t pay its soldiers anymore.
