Sometimes a river doesn't flow forward, it flows backward! Imagine you're in a boat on a calm lake. Then, the wind starts blowing really hard and pushes water from one side to the other, making it look like the river is going the opposite way. This is called a reverse current, and it can happen when strong winds or tides change how water moves.
Examples
- You pour water from one cup to another, but then it starts flowing back.
