What Makes a ‘Leader’ Become a ‘Dictator’?

A leader can turn into a dictator when they stop listening to others and start making all the decisions alone.

At first, a leader is like the captain of a ship, everyone follows them because they know where to go. But if the captain starts saying things like “You don’t need to talk anymore” or “I’m the only one who knows what’s best,” people might feel ignored and upset.

When a leader becomes a dictator, it's like they take over the ship completely. They don’t ask for help, and if someone disagrees, they might even get in trouble. The captain now makes all the rules, and no one can question them anymore.

Sometimes people cheer for the leader at first because things seem to go well. But soon, they realize that the dictator only wants to stay in power forever!
