What is zygote?

A zygote is like a tiny, super-special egg that starts everything inside your body, like when you’re born or when your mom has a baby.

Imagine you have two favorite toys: one from your brother and one from your sister. When they play together, they make something new, maybe a cool robot! A zygote is kind of like that robot. It’s made when an egg (from the mom) meets a sperm (from the dad), just like how two toys can come together to create something brand new.
