What is zygote?

A zygote is like a tiny, super-special egg that starts everything inside your body, like when you’re born or when your mom has a baby.

Imagine you have two favorite toys: one from your brother and one from your sister. When they play together, they make something new, maybe a cool robot! A zygote is kind of like that robot. It’s made when an egg (from the mom) meets a sperm (from the dad), just like how two toys can come together to create something brand new.

How it starts

When the egg and sperm meet, they join into one cell, this is the zygote. This tiny cell has all the instructions needed to grow into a full person. It's like having a complete blueprint in your pocket that tells your body how to build everything from your hair to your toes.

The journey begins

Then, this little zygote starts traveling through the mom’s body and eventually finds its way to the uterus, kind of like a tiny traveler on an adventure. There, it will keep growing and changing until one day, you are born!

So, the zygote is the very first step in making a new life, just like how your brother's toy and your sister’s toy started a cool robot together!
