What Makes It Cold
When it's cold outside, the air inside your house can get chilly too. Your bathroom, which might be near a window or door, feels even colder because it’s like a little room that lets the cold in. Imagine your bathroom as a blanket that got wet and left outside overnight, now it's soggy and chilly when you walk into it.
What Happens When You Step In
Your body is warm from being in bed, but when you go to the bathroom, you’re like a hot cup of cocoa that gets poured into a cold bowl. The cold floor, cold air, and maybe even the cold water all make your feet and skin feel surprised, ouch! It’s like stepping on ice with bare feet.
But once you get used to it, or turn on the heater, it starts feeling cozy again, just like a warm hug from a blanket.
