Fully independent means something can do everything it needs to do on its own, no help from anyone or anything else.
Imagine you have a toy robot that can walk, talk, and sing. If it can do all those things by itself, without needing you to push buttons or hold its hand, then it's fully independent.
Like a Kid All By Themselves
No Help Needed
If you had a friend who could paint a whole picture without needing anyone to hand them the brush or tell them what colors to use, your friend would be fully independent at painting.
So, fully independent just means something (or someone) can do all the things it needs to do, all by itself!
Examples
- Imagine a kid who doesn’t need anyone to tell them what to do, that’s like a fully independent nation.
