Warfare is when groups of people try to beat each other by fighting.
Imagine you and your friends are playing a game in the park, and another group comes over wanting to take your swings. You all start shouting, pushing, and maybe even running after each other like in tag, that's a bit like warfare.
What Do People Use in Warfare?
In real life, people use tools to help them fight better. Sometimes they have sticks or rocks, just like when you play with your toys. Other times, they have bigger tools, like swords or even machines that can shoot fire and smoke, like a super-powered toy car.
Why People Fight
People fight because they want something, maybe land, food, or to protect their family. It's like if you were trying to get the biggest slide at the park, and someone else wanted it too. You both might have to show who's stronger to win.
Sometimes, people even make plans before fighting, just like how you plan your game with friends before playing hide-and-seek.
