Variation means how things can be different even if they seem similar.
Imagine you have a box of crayons, all red crayons. Now, if you look closely, some might be lighter red, and others might be darker red. That’s variation, the way things can look or feel slightly different from each other even though they're part of the same group.
Like a Family
Think about your family. You and your brother both have brown eyes, but yours are a little lighter than his. Your mom has curly hair, while your dad has straight hair. Even though you’re all part of the same family, you each look a bit different, that’s variation in action!
Like a Bag of Candies
Or imagine a bag of candies, they're all sweet, but some are chocolate, and others are gummy. Some are big, and others are small. Even though they’re all candy, they have variation in taste, size, and texture.
Variation is like the little differences that make everything around us interesting and unique!
