What is vacuum-sealed?

Vacuum-sealed is when you squish all the air out of a bag or container so it fits tightly around what's inside.

Imagine you have a snack, like your favorite chips. If you put them in a regular bag and seal it, there’s still lots of air inside. That means the bag can puff up and maybe even tear if you drop it. But if you vacuum-seal it, you're using a special machine that sucks all the air out, making the bag shrink around the chips like a tight hug.

How It Works

When there's no air inside, the bag can’t expand or burst easily. It’s like when you press your face against a balloon, if you take away all the air, it stays flat and doesn’t pop. That means your chips stay fresh longer because they’re protected from squishing and air.

Why It Matters

Vacuum-sealed bags are super useful for storing food, especially snacks or things that go bad quickly. They keep the food snug and safe, like a cozy blanket around your favorite treats!
