Unpredictability is when you don’t know what will happen next, even if you think you do.
Imagine you have a toy box full of different kinds of toys, cars, blocks, balls, and puzzles. Every time you reach in, you might pull out something completely different from what you expected. That’s unpredictability, it's like having a surprise every time you open the lid!
Like a Bumpy Ride
Think about riding in a car with your mom on a bumpy road. You know the car is moving, but you don’t know if you’ll feel a big bump or a little one next. Sometimes it’s smooth, sometimes it's rough, that’s unpredictability too!
When You Can’t Plan Ahead
If something is unpredictable, it means you can't always plan what will happen next. It’s like trying to build a tower with blocks, but every time you put down a block, the wind blows and moves one of your blocks somewhere else, whoops! That makes building harder because you never know where things will end up.
Unpredictability is just life telling you: “Hey, be ready for surprises!”
